All Lost Sectors in Destiny 2

Lost sectors are a new type of PvE activity that was added in Destiny 2. This activity can be done solo or in a group and at different difficulty levels with Legend and Master variants that were added in Beyond Light. You can earn exotic armor pieces in these more difficult version which makes it a great way to farm specific exotics, rather than waiting for Xur or finding them in the wild. Each lost sector pits Guardians against dozens of enemies and a boss fight to open a loot chest at the very end.

To help you find the lost sectors on each planet, we put together this complete guide on all the lost sectors that can be found in Destiny 2.

List of Lost Sectors in Destiny 2

Lost Sectors can be a little tough to find on the map because of how small their icons are. We’ve put together a complete guide on how to find the entrances to all the lost sectors in Destiny 2 as well as pertinent information about the enemies you’ll face inside each one.

Note: Lost sectors that are currently in the Destiny Content Vault are not listed since, well, you can’t do them. If these Lost Sectors are added back into the game, we’ll add them to this guide.

Europa Lost Sectors

There are 3 Lost Sectors on Europa and they are Perdition, Concealed Void, and Bunker E15. These Lost Sectors are are located within a short sparrow ride from the nearest transmat point.

Perdition Lost Sector

The Perdition Lost Sector is located in the Northeast section of Cadmus Ridge, the Western zone, on Europa. The fastest way here is to teleport to Charon’s Crossing and rid your sparrow down the western path. The entrance to Perdition is near the Fallen Brig public event area, a.k.a. that enormous clearing in the center of Cadmus Ridge. Ride your sparrow here and look for two tunnels in that Northeastern corner. Find the Lost Sector symbol on that wall and take the tunnel on the right.

• Boss: Alkestis, Sacrifical Mind (Gate Lord)

Concealed Void Lost Sector

The Concealed Void Lost Sector is located in the center of Asterion Abyss which is the Eastern zone on Europa. To get here, transmat to Charron’s Crossing and take the Eastern road keeping Variks’ building on your left. Follow the road into Asterion Abyss and when it forks, take the left path that goes into the ice cavern under the Vex superstructure. Stay to the right once you’re in the cavern and the entrance to the Lost Sector will be directly ahead. Go in and follow this corridor all the way down.

• Boss: Teliks, House Salvation (Archon)

Bunker E15 Lost Sector

The Bunker E15 Lost Sector is located in the central building in the Eventide Ruins. From the transmat point, hop down and turn around so you’re looking inside the building. Head through the doorway, up the stairs, and jump over the stacks of equipment in front of you. This leads to a hidden passageway that leads directly to Bunker E15.

• Enemy Units: Dreg, Vandal, Captain. Goblin, Fanatic, Hobgoblin, Minotaur, Cyclops.
• Shield Types: Arc & Void
• Boss: Inquisitor Hydra (Hydra)

The Moon Lost Sectors

There are 4 lost sectors located on the moon. In order to have access to Lost Sectors on the Moon, you’ll need to have purchased the Shadowkeep expansion and have completed the intro missions. Then you’ll be able to transmat to Sanctuary and Sorrow’s Harbor.

K1 Logistics

The K1 Logistics Lost Sector is located on the Moon in Archer’s Line, the Western Zone, and the entrance is on the Western side of the building. If you’re familiar with the Ether Collector public event in Archer’s Line, head to where that takes place, look towards the building and there’ll be an open doorway on the left side of the building. Head inside, hang an immediate left, go under the collapsed roof, and follow the corridors all the way down.

• Boss: Nightmare of Kelnix Reborn (Servitor)

K1 Crew Quarters

The K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector is tucked away in the Southwest corner of the Hellmouth zone on the Moon. The fastest way there is to transmat to Sanctuary and ride your sparrow through the Anchor of Light and enter the Hellmouth from the Eastern side. Stay to the left and the entrance is inside the furthest building in that far corner. The building itself is a flat, non-descript white building that’s built into the side of a cliff. You’ll know it’s the correct one since there’s a stack of crates with an orange Lost Sector symbol in front of it.

• Enemy Units: Dreg, Wretch, Marauder, Shank, Exploder Shank, Tracer Shank, Vandal, Captain, Servitor.
• Shield Types: Arc
• Boss: Nightmare of Reyiks, Actuator (Heavy Shank)

K1 Communion

This Lost Sector is inside the buildings in the Northeastern corner of the Anchor of Light. If you’re heading there from Sanctuary, you’ll want to take the path that heads to the Hellmouth. When you near the end of the last building on your right side, hop off your sparrow and look at the building. The entrance is to the left of the yellow Lost Sector symbol. Stay to the left and hang the first left you can into the building. Take an immediate right and follow the path down to reach K1 Communion.

• Boss: Nightmrae of Rizaahn, the Lost (Archon)

K1 Revelation

To find the entrance to K1 Revelation, teleport to Sorrow’s Harbor and make your way through the Altars of Sorrow event that’s undoubtedly taking place. The entrance is basically a hole in the ground so it can be hard to find. Go to the entrance of main thoroughfare that leads into the Shadowkeep. Look to your right for the giant circle that’s to the East of this road. Head South from here and keep an eye out for a tunnel that heads underground. Follow this down and you’ll be at the lost sector in no time.

• Shield Types: Solar
• Boss: Nightmare of Arguth, the Tormented (Ogre)

The Dreaming City Lost Sectors

There are only 3 lost sectors that can be found in the Dreaming City. To access these activities, you’ll need to have purchased Forsaken and completed the Awoken Talisman questline.

Bay of Drowned Wishes

The Bay of Drowned Wishes has to be the quickest Lost Sector to find in the entirety of Destiny. Simply transmat down to the Dreaming City via the Divalian Mists waypoint and turn around. That’s it. You’ll see the Lost Sector symbol next to a cave. That’s the entrance. Head on in and follow the corridors until they open up into the clearing.

• Enemy Units: Screeb, Lurker, Ravager, Stalker, Raider, Abomination.
• Shield Types: None
• Boss: Yirksii, Subversive Chieftain (Scorn Chieftain)

Chamber of Starlight

This Lost Sector is a bit hard to find since it’s off the beaten path. Chamber of Starlight is located in Southern Rheasilva, the Northern zone in the Dreaming City, and is tucked away inside a crevasse where you have no good reason to go.

The fastest way there is to take your Sparrow from the Divalian Mists and take the Northern road to Rheasilva. Once there, take the main road to the right and stay right before the first bridge. Hop off your Sparrow and hop down to a platform covered in grass on the bottom left wall. There’ll be a cave opening in front of you and that’s the entrance to the Chamber of Starlight.

• Enemy Units: Taken Thrall, Taken Goblin, Taken Hobgoblin, Taken Knight.
• Shield Types: Void
• Boss: Inkasi, Disciple of Quria (Wizard)

Aphelion’s Rest

This lost sector is located in the Easternmost section of The Strand. From the Divalian Mists, hop on your Sparrow and take the Southern road through the crystalline caves to The Strand. Pass through the Rift Generator public event space and go under the bridge in the distance. Veer right once you’re past the bridge and the entrance to Aphelion’s Rest will be on your right to the right of the Lost Sector symbol.

• Enemy Units: Taken Thrall, Taken Acolyte, Acolyte Eye, Taken Vandal, Taken Captain, Taken Phalanx.
• Shield Types: None
• Boss: Ur Haraak, Disciple of Quria (Ultra Knight)

Tangled Shore Lost Sectors

There are 5 lost sectors scattered across the Tangled Shore and to access them, you will need to have purchased the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2.

Kingship Dock

This is the quickest Lost Sector to get to in the Tangled Shore. Simply transmat to Thieves Landing, hop on your sparrow, and veer right from the transmat zone. Follow the road until it forks and stay to the left. The entrance to Kingship Dock is directly ahead behind the close door. Go through that door, take the gravity lift up, and follow the pathway to the lost sector.

• Shield Types: None
• Boss: Vilzii, Scorn Chieftain

The Empty Tank

The Empty Tank is also located in Thieves Landing. After teleporting to the transmat point, hop on your sparrow and go straight ahead like you’re going to the Spider. Head up the stars to the walkway along that far wall and follow it to the right. Head up the next set of stairs and look for an open doorway on your left. Go through there and follow the corridor to the lost sector.

• Enemy Units: Thrall, War Beast, Dreg, Shank, Wretch, Vandal, Captain, Servitor
• Shield Types: Arc
• Boss: Azilis, Dusk Marauder

Wolfship Turbine

To get to this Lost Sector, go to the secondary transmat point in the Tangled Shore at Sorik’s Cut. Look for the small white domed building in front of you after zoning in. Go towards it, hop down off the small cliff to the ground below, and turn around. There should be a white Lost Sector symbol on a small boulder nearby. The entrance to Wolfship Turbine is a hole in the ground to the left of that marker.

• Boss: Segrex, The Tained

Shipyward AWO-43

To get to this lost sector, you need to head over to the Jetsam of Saturn zone. The fastest way there is to use the Thieves Landing transmat point, hop on your sparrow, and take the western road. Follow this road until you reach the wreckage of the Hive war ship. This ship has been broken in half with one on each side of the road. Stay on the road, go through the center portion, and immediately hang a right on the other side. Go straight ahead towards the war ship and take the path down into the gulley below. There will be a hole in the ground that goes under the war ship with a lost sector symbol to the right of it.

• Boss: Zetix-7

Trapper’s Cave

The Trapper’s Cave lost sector is located in Four Horn Gulch, the Eastern most zone in the Tangled Shore. Since there isn’t a transmat point there, you’ll have to hoof it from Thieves Landing. Hop on your sparrow and hang a right onto the road just outside the transmat point. Follow this to the fork and veer right taking this path up to the area that overlooks most of Thieves Landing.

There’s a gravity well in the back right corner of this area, head there and take the well up. Hop back on your sparrow and follow this corridor until it opens up into the Four Horn Gulch. Look to the left for a ruined building that has red Fallen banners draped across the roof. Head past this building and look for a craggy boulder in the center of the tiny ravine ahead.

Go to this boulder. Turn to the right and look for a hole in this wall that opens into a tunnel leading down. There will be a white lost sector emblem to the left of the entrance so you know you’re in the right place.
