Expunge Labyrinth Guide

Expunge is one of the new seasonal activities added to Destiny 2 during Season of the Splicer. Once you’ve completed Path of the Splicer III, Mithrax will send you into Expunge Labyrinth in the Tangle Shore to further progress the story. This guide will show you how to complete the activity quickly and easily.

Expunge Labyrinth Guide

• Head forward and go down the first drop off
• Activate the node if you have the Wirewalker upgrade
• Go down the second drop off after the wall disapparates
• Hang a left into the green hallway after that door disapparates
• Go down the third drop off into the white room
• Go down the fourth drop off into the green room
• Keep moving through the triangle corridor with the 3 doors
• Drop down the fifth drop off into the white room
• Your next drop off is the first alcove on the left side of the room

• Go through the corridor at the end of the room and up into the green room
• Follow the path to the right up and around until you reach the final stage of the jumping puzzle
• Bear in mind that there’s a moving wall that will kill you if you aren’t behind cover

• Make your way to the portal at the end of this causeway
• Navigate your way through the next phase of the jumping puzzle (watch video for each step)

Fantis, the Oppressive Mind Boss Strategy

• Once you reach the boss, there are 4 Oracle crystals with 1 in each corner of the room.
• Destroying one of these will create cover in that particular corner.
• Start the encounter by running into the center of the room to spawn the boss then choose which corner you want to fight out of.
• Fantis, the Oppressive Mind will spawn in as will ~8 Fanatics in 2 groups of 4.
• Handle the fanatics then DPS Fantis.
• Once you get Fantis down to 2/3 health, he’ll go immune, and adds will spawn. Specifically, 2 Nexus Guardians (Ultra Hydras) and 4 elite hobgoblins.
• The hobgoblins will have line of sight on you while you’re behind cover so be sure to take them down first. That’ll free you up to focus on the Nexus Guardians without being under pressure.
• Once you defeat a Nexus Guardian, they’ll drop a Data Spike that needs to be deposited.
• Deposit it, rinse, repeat.
• Fantis will no longer be immune and ready to be DPS’d all the way down.
• Defeat them and you’re done with Expunge Labyrinth.
